SW Planning is a consultancy with in-depth experience of the development process and delivering projects that require carefully considered and commercially-aware strategies.  This wide-ranging commercial track record is of great benefit for developer and landowner clients. 

Steve set up the company in March 2012 and is a planning and development specialist providing advice on a range of developments to both public and private sector organisations.  He has particular expertise and track record in advising public sector and corporate clients on appropriate planning strategies to optimise the value of their estate.  Steve also advises a number of residential developers, leading their development teams and providing scheme specific appraisal and implementation advice and coordinating teams for the promotion of development schemes through the planning system. 

He has an extensive track record having worked in Birmingham and London where his previous role was as Director of Planning at BNP Paribas Real Estate, of acting for public sector organisations, corporates and developers.  Steve has wide-ranging experience securing consents and maximising assets and land value, including for the redevelopment of major landholdings for residential purposes.  His work covers all aspects of planning including negotiation of consents and legal agreements, assessment of development options, planning appraisals and the preparation of development briefs.
